Media relations and risk communications training sessions as needed.
Ongoing counsel on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the association’s membership, including regular public policy updates to the membership and in-person updates at membership meetings.
Coordinate Washington, DC “fly ins” for the association’s members to educate policymakers on the industry and its top legislative and regulatory concerns.
Strategic counsel regarding an association’s PAC.
The Laurin Baker Group, LLC generally bills on a monthly retainer basis based on an agreed-upon scope of services. Public Affairs Plans for specific issues (e.g., an environmental cleanup with community notification/involvement) are generally billed as a flat fee for preparation of the plan and then additional monthly retainers or flat fees for preparation of communications materials outlined in the plan. We will work with you on alternative billing arrangements as appropriate.
